  • Why should I hire an outside facilitator to design and facilitate a workshop for my company?
There are lots of reasons why an outside facilitator is a good choice! Here are a few: An outside facilitator is unbiased, so we'll help you consider lots of different perspectives and we won't have any stake in the decisions you ultimately make. Facilitators take a holistic approach when designing structured workshops that help your team achieve the desired outcomes. By providing an outside perspective, we are able to focus on the big picture and deliver tailored solutions that fit your unique needs. Facilitators help keep conversations and activities on track - we aren't afraid to put things in the "parking lot" to keep the workshop moving towards it's end goal! Facilitators can introduce new activities and exercises to your workshops, helping to reignite your team's creativity and enthusiasm when you're feeling stuck or out of ideas. Your teams are busy and workshops require a lot of prep work!
  • When do I NOT need a facilitator?
If your team is already aligned on a decision, or if you're making a decision about something small (like what to order for team lunch), you probably don't need a facilitator for that. Additionally, you shouldn't rely on a facilitator to give you the answers to the problems you're trying to solve. We're here to help your team extract those outcomes, but we aren't the experts on your work! Think of us as your trusted guide, not your omniscient.
  • Can you do workshops for hybrid, remote, and in-person teams?
Yes to all! Since we use online whiteboard tools, everyone has equal opportunity to contribute and participate in the exercises.
  • What if my team isn't familiar with online whiteboard tools?
We'll make sure your team is familiar with the whiteboard tool, either with a separate intro session or with warm-up activities at the beginning of the workshop. If you are interested in using online whiteboard tools like Miro or Mural with your team but aren't currently in need of a workshop, we can conduct intro sessions for a small fee!
